The Student Advising Implementation Team piloted the recommendations from the original model with four departments before moving to campus wide implementation. Each school or college has designed departmentally-based student advising plans in order to implement the student advising model in ways that meet their student and departmental needs. During 2004-2005, the SAIT plans to continue assessing the efficacy of departmental plans, central advising, and the overall student advising model.
